Maintenance Mechanic II

Our growing manufacturing client in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic II to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Maintenance Mechanic II position are as follows:

• High School Diploma or GED, Technical certification preferred
• 8+ years’ maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing setting
• Solid understanding and experience with CNC milling machines
• Working knowledge of CAD/CAM
• Strong mechanical ability
• Welding skills are a plus
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals/blueprints
• Ability to use precision measuring tools
• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and good work ethic
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

As the Maintenance Mechanic II your duties will include:

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Perform emergency repairs
• Complete welding, plumbing, electrical, lockout/tagout procedures
• Surface grinding and welding
• Oversees maintenance operations as needed
• Other duties as assigned
