Description

OptiMIM, a Form Technologies company, uses advanced metal injection molding (MIM) technology to manufacture high-precision metal components for demanding industries and high-volume production environments. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic III to support and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment, automation systems, furnaces, and facility systems in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for a skilled industrial maintenance technician or mechanic with experience in:Siemens PLC troubleshootingAutomated production equipmentElectrical and mechanical repairPreventive maintenance (PM)Manufacturing maintenance operations You'll play a lead role in troubleshooting, equipment uptime, and mentoring junior maintenance team members. What You'll DoDiagnose and repair industrial production equipment and facility systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systemsTroubleshoot furnace operations using Siemens PLC hardware and softwarePerform preventive and predictive maintenance (PM)Use digital multimeters (DMMs) and other diagnostic tools to identify issuesSupport installation, modification, and repair of manufacturing equipmentAssist the Senior Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Manager with task coordination and workflow guidanceHelp maintain equipment reliability, production uptime, and workplace safetySupport building and grounds maintenance as needed Required Qualifications5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environmentExperience troubleshooting and repairing semi-automated or fully automated equipmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to analyze equipment issues and determine corrective actions independently Preferred QualificationsTechnical school, trade school, or industrial maintenance courseworkExperience with industrial controls, automation, or production furnacesExperience mentoring or leading junior maintenance technicians Schedule & Shift InformationTraining Schedule Monday-Friday (Approx. 2–3 Months)Choose one:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Permanent ScheduleSwing Shift ($1.00 shift differential) Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-10:30pm Compensation & Benefits$30–$38 per hourSafety Boot allowanceBenefits: Medical (HSA or PPO), generous HSA contribution, Rx, dental, vision, long term disability, group life, dependent life, whole life, AD&D, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, FSA, LegalShield, transit pass gift card program, tuition reimbursement, and 401k with generous employer match.PTO: 40 hours of Sick time, 80 hours of PTO, and 80 hours of (designated) holiday pay.
