Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and be comfortable performing a variety of building and equipment repairs. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to following safety procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform minor building maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies and notify appropriate personnel.
• Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
• Complete additional maintenance duties and projects as assigned.
• Prioritize work orders and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math, reading, and written communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience required.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of prints, specifications, and schematics.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Safety & Emergency Response

The Maintenance Mechanic must be able to respond promptly to emergency situations, notify the appropriate personnel, and follow all required safety protocols and procedures.
