Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Duties:
What your background should look like
Requires a High School Diploma/GED and minimum 4 years of related experience or local equivalent.
AA Degree in a related discipline or local equivalent and 7 years of related experience is preferred.
4+ years' experience in manufacturing in maintenance role working on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, motor controls systems.
1+ years' experience in heating/air conditioning and refrigeration based on work area assigned is a plus.
Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic, and mechanical blueprint reading skills required; experience reading blueprints from non-U.S. manufacturers preferred.
Experience using micrometers, oscilloscopes, amp meters, gauges, rulers (metric and standard), shop equipment (drill press, milling machine, welding)
Math skills (electrical wiring work requires use of decimals, percentages)
Ability to prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties
Must be proficient in the English language.
Previous forklift, scissors lift, and boom license is preferred.
