We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Jessup, MD! In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain and repair food production machinery, building systems, and facility equipment to keep everything running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical equipment issues
Read and use blueprints and electrical schematics
Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, switches, lighting, and piping
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools
Work safely with high-voltage electrical circuits (480V, 3-phase)
Handle plumbing and building maintenance tasks
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment
Follow OSHA safety standards, GMPs, and use proper PPE
Support food safety and quality initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical trades or maintenance
Electrical certification or equivalent experience with high/low voltage systems
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic TIG/MIG welding
Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders
Available to work production days, including Sundays
