Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Killeen, TX. This is a key position for an individual with strong mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will be able to independently identify mechanical issues, perform complex repairs, and help ensure equipment and machinery remain safe, reliable, and operational.

This position offers up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Identify mechanical problems and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Use mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and other shop equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related equipment issues.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while following established safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Assist with installation, adjustment, and startup of equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar skilled mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and repair procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver tools, equipment, and parts as required.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, or fabrication experience is a plus.

Compensation
