Perform maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment to ensure a continuous source of light, heat, water, power, and temperature control recommending necessary changes in such facilities or equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remain informed of changes in rules and procedures as required to correct deficiencies and improve performance
  • Maintain records and submit regular and special reports as assigned
  • Instruct assigned personnel in regard to safety policies and procedures, report all safety hazards to Department Manager and follow up to ensure hazards are eliminated
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repair duties on all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
  • Maintains lagoon areas and functions of the Waste water treatment plant system
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • Must be able to work independently and function as a member of a team
  • Must qualify for company insurance coverage
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Preferred

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
  • 2 years in the field of Facilities Maintenance and knowledge in plumbing, electrical and HVAC
