Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment to meet daily shift requirements while ensuring safety, quality, value, and cost efficiency. You will perform both preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, and execute equipment installations and changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment, including 480V 3-phase motors and conveyers, cartoners, case packers, and wrappers.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform equipment installations and changeovers.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and equipment.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized work area.
• Comply with the 5S process and adhere to GMP's, HACCP, OSHA, and company policies.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience in maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with 480V 3-phase motors.
• Understanding of conveyers, cartoners, case packers, and wrappers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $73320.00 - $74880.00/yr.
