Maintenance Mechanic

Positions available: immediately - 6/30/2027

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and prior experience in one of the following required:

• Plumbing

• HVAC

• Electrical

• Experience in plumbing or HVAC preferred

• Must have Black Seal Boiler License or willing to obtain within one year of employment

• Able to delegate work and supervise performance

• Able to follow orders and work independently

• Familiarity with general maintenance of mechanical equipment

• Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment

• Valid NJ State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record required

Work Expectations:

• Must work overtime as needed or as emergencies arise
• Must perform snow removal
• Must work any shift and daily assignment in accordance with the Teamsters Local No. 11 Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Must be in good health to perform heavy labor tasks
• Neat appearance
• Cooperative attitude
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of District Facilities or designee

Terms of Employment

• Salary range: $47,000 - $56,000 (Note: Range does not apply to current Facilities Workers) + Additional Stipends, if applicable, see link below for details
