TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic in the Houston area!

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person

GENERAL SUMMARY

Repairs, installs, and performs preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure equipment remains in good working condition at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial and food processing equipment.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.

• Complete work orders, reports, inspections, and required documentation.

• Operate lift trucks and hoisting equipment safely during maintenance work.

• Maintain equipment lubrication, spare parts inventory, and department tools.

• Follow GMP, HACCP, AIB, and company safety standards.

• Keep work areas clean and organized.

• Assist with training new employees and support continuous process improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Vocational/Technical education preferred or equivalent experience.

• Industrial Maintenance/Electrical experience required.

• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

PAY RATE

$33.74 per hour

SCHEDULE

Must be available weekends and flexible to rotate between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts for several months at a time. Must be available to work some holidays.
