Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance equipment reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in the training of new maintenance staff as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
