Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job DescriptionLocation: West Deptford, NJ, 08066Position SummarySouth Jersey Bakery LLC, headquartered in Paulsboro NJ, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of bakery products. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will help complete all maintenance on the production lines. You Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment, and machinery, according to standards. The position requires a demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality, and quality. Essential Functions- Supports all aspects of the maintenance department as needed, including general building and grounds maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment failures in a timely and orderly manner.
- Completes plant work orders, accurately and on time.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Performs emergency equipment repairs, independently and as a team.
- Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment and completes appropriate documentation.
Reports ToMaintenance Manager Physical Demands and Work Environment Requirements- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to read, write and understand policies, guidelines, specifications and safety standards
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills
- Previous bakery experience a plus
- Electrical experience with 110/220/480 a plus.
- Welding experience with Tig/Mig/Arc a plus
