What you'll be doing:
Practice and abide by site-specific and company safety procedures and rulesMust understand and implement the Savage Maintenance ProgramPerform a pre/post shift equipment inspectionsMaintain and report spare parts inventoryProperly record and complete maintenance reports and service recordsRepair and maintain pumps, motors, hydraulics, mobile and plant specific equipmentMaintain good relations and open communication with coworkers and management via radio and other proper meansMaintain a clean work environment by removing trash and debris from all areas of responsibility including structures, offices, restrooms, break rooms, vehicles, etc.Complete PM services on plant and process equipmentKnowledge of riggingMust be willing to perform any other special tasks assigned by management
Requirements to be successful:
Experience with repairing and maintaining bridge cranes and coke cutting equipmentAt least 3-5+ years of experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair.Knowledge and working experience with different types of welding and cutting.Must be able to periodically work at heights of up to but not limited to 150'.Practices and understands time management, is a self-starter with a positive outlook.Must have a strong mechanical background.Refinery or Industrial Plant Operations: experience with high safety standards and regulations associated with hazardous industrial plant environments.Experience with hydraulic operated hoist and drilling equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Boiler maker skills a plusKnowledge of SAP {CMMS)Experience with automated equipment and basic computers are a plus.Additional experience operating back hoe, front end loader, dozer, or other heavy equipment is a plus.

Ability to work outside in any weather conditionMust be willing to work a rotating scheduleWork in an environment containing coal dust, hazardous noise, confined space, and in hot or cold environmentsWork at heights, climbing stairs, and climbing laddersWalk on uneven ground and up to 3 miles per shiftMust have ability to wear required PPRMust be able to pass a fit test and pulmonary function test for the purposes of wearing a respirator and recertify annually or as neededLift up to 50 pounds frequentlyMust be able to periodically work at heights of up to but not limited to 150'
