GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

Accountable for maintaining all equipment within the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Main tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing, diagnosing, and repairing simple electrical and electronic circuits
• Troubleshooting and repairing both simple and complex hydraulic circuits.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
• Conform to all applicable safety standards.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance for specified area (if applicable).
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Understand and implement the health and safety policy and to integrate health and safety considerations into daily work activities
• Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE JOB

• Ability to work overtime based on business demands.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Moderate to loud production environment
• Working around equipment and machinery
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Demonstrate good verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate good attendance, safety, and housekeeping records.
• Demonstrate positive, team-oriented behavior.
• Must have a working knowledge of quality systems and production planning.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze and solve routine ongoing production concerns.
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
• Must have effective communication skills to be able to communicate and instruct associates.
• Capable of handling change, displaying flexibility and be willing to try new ideas and concepts.
• Self-starter and can carry out tasks with minimal direct supervision.
• Well Organized.
• Accurate and attentive to detail.
• Talking/listening to others to convey and receive information effectively.
• Ability to assist and support others.
• Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work any shift or hours required

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Licenses or Certificates:

• California Driver's License- needed to be a company certified forklift driver

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
