Senior Maintenance Mechanic

As a Senior Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be a key player in ensuring our manufacturing facility operates at peak performance while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.
Schedule:
• Tues - Fri - 5:00am to 3:30pm (Mondays Off) • Flexibility for overtime, weekends, or call-ins as needed
Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and ensure equipment is mechanically sound • Handle electrical troubleshooting and apply general electrical knowledge • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment • Apply facilities maintenance knowledge to keep the plant running efficiently • Share expertise and spread knowledge to the team through mentoring and collaboration • Maintain a Safety-First mindset in all tasks and promote a culture of safety • Adapt to changing workflows and priorities in a fast-paced environment • Collaborate with production and vendors for specialized repairs • Use sound knowledge of pneumatic systems for troubleshooting and repairs
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Minimum 6 years in an industrial maintenance role with proven technical proficiency.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills • General electrical knowledge and ability to diagnose issues • Facilities maintenance experience • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail • Ability to mentor and lead by example • Knowledge of pneumatic systems • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability • HVAC and fabrication experience are a plus • High School diploma or equivalent • Reliable transportation • Physical Requirements: • Must be able to traverse the production facility • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time with assistance • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift • Physical requirements include lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, arm-hand steadiness, manual dexterity, control precision, and near vision
