Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
Reassemble machines after repairs or preventive maintenance work is completed
Start and test machinery after repairs to verify proper operation and efficiency
Inspect damaged machine parts, identify defects, and communicate repair needs to supervisors
Lubricate machines, components, and equipment according to maintenance schedules and procedures
Install, replace, and adjust machine parts and attachments to meet production requirements
Dismantle machines and remove components for repair or replacement
Read work orders and specifications to determine maintenance priorities and repair needs
Set up and operate machines as needed while adjusting controls to regulate operations
Record production, repair, and maintenance activity accurately in logs or database systems
Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to repair or relocate equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Apprenticeship or technical training preferred
1–2 years of maintenance mechanic or related industrial maintenance experience
Knowledge of machines, tools, repair methods, and preventive maintenance practices
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
Familiarity with email systems and preventive maintenance database software
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability in a manufacturing environment
