Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting expertise, and electrical knowledge, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $28.70-32.39/hour

Shift: 7pm-7am 2-2-3 rotation

What's the Job?

• Following all safety rules and practices to ensure a safe working environment
• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and repositioning components
• Performing emergency/breakdown maintenance to support plant operations
• Accurately using measurement and test equipment for repairs and inspections
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and completing maintenance records and paperwork accurately

What's Needed?

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise
• Electrical knowledge and experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required
• Ability to perform repairs and installations efficiently and safely
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
