Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $28/hour

Shift: 6pm to 6am, 2-2-3 schedule

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot and provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines
• Facilitate change-over and assist with the overhaul and installation of new equipment
• Rebuild and fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Perform facility maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Generate parts requests and complete work orders efficiently to support production needs

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience in a high-speed industrial environment
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and schematics
• Ability to supply necessary hand tools for the role
• Preferred qualifications include an EET/MET or Mechatronics degree, 5+ years of mechanical/electrical experience, and knowledge of PLC systems
