Hourly Non-Exempt Position

Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks while ensuring Safety and Food Safety in accordance with SQF standards
- Examines the form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- May initiate purchase orders for parts and machines.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Must comply with the work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested, and completing work orders per instructions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups.
- Basic algebra and geometry
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Vision abilities required include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, handle, and reach with hands and arms.

- Must be able to complete and pass post-offer checks to include, but not limited to, background, drug, references, and education.
