HOURS Night Shift may be required to work Day Shift during summer school break periods and emergencies.
POSITIONS
REQUIRED • Experienced Painter • Carpentry • Electric and/or Plumbing (a plus)
DUTIES • Painting and Carpentry • Skilled mechanic across multiple trades with strong knowledge of the proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment. • Demonstrate proficiency as a skilled mechanic in major trades with thorough knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment, and their proper use and care. • Independently assess job requirements and determine appropriate materials, methods, and procedures for each assignment. • Contribute to all stages of project execution from initial planning and coordination through implementation and final completion.
QUALIFICATIONS Either • One year of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic II • Four years of experience in building maintenance or trades, two of which involved skilled trades work
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT Depending on the nature of the assignment at this time of appointment and during employment in the title, candidates may be required to possess a valid New York States drivers license, appropriate for the vehicle to be operated.
SALARY $81,636
