Maintenance Mechanic

Schedule

-Training schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday) for the first few weeks.
-After training, transition to either Day Shift (4:00 AM - 4:00 PM) or Night Shift (4:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
-Final schedule follows a rotating 4-on, 3-off work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage maintenance operations, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
-Participate in facility maintenance, capital improvement projects, maintenance budgets, inventory, and vendor activities.
-Participate in maintenance scheduling, performance, and training while supporting daily production and operational goals.
-Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, environmental, and regulatory standards while monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement.



Required Skills & Experience

-High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of maintenance or operations management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
-Strong knowledge of CMMS, preventive maintenance programs, HACCP, GMP, workplace safety, and maintenance best practices.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and able to work either a day or night 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
-Experience with ammonia refrigeration safety/risk management and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Pay Rate Range 28-32 per hour+
