Job Summary and Qualifications As a Maintenance Mechanic in our Hospital, you will support the mission of our Hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients. Your duties will include (but not limited to): Performs the general inspection and repair duties to keep the physical plant in safe operating condition. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a large variety of equipment and systems under the guidance of the Plant Operations Director. This work requires skills in a variety of trades. Maintains proper documentation of all tests, inspections and repairs. Works closely with agents from regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and systems/services on an on-going basis. You are: Reliable Excited to work in a fast-paced environmentOrganized and can provide exceptional customer serviceAble to read and speak English Qualifications: Education: Graduate of a vocational school in a related field Experience: 3-5 years of general maintenance experience in an industrial plant, building complex, healthcare/hospital setting, or for a general contractor servicing these environments. Special Qualifications: Must have a telephone, available transportation, and be able to respond to work immediately in case of an emergency.
