Maintenance

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking multiple Maintenance Technician's to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs facility located in Middletown, OH. These individuals will be responsible for maintenance duties, as well as performing daily manual labor in an industrial setting as defined below.

Shift Details: Rotating between 1st and 2nd Shift

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 6:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Shift: 2nd

Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 2:45 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Services and rebuilds slide gates for the tundishes and ladles in the Caster Department.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs equipment such as springs, guide rails, upper & lower frames, and hydraulic cylinders.
• Demonstrates use calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, taps, dies, & other basic hand tools.
• Works at heights with confidence and commitment to safety.
• Operates powered industrial truck, scissor lifts, etc.
• Follows company and customer safety protocol, PPE usage, and reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates ability to read, analyze, and interpret general and technical business procedures.
• Ability to understand job site processes.
• Consistently adheres to PPE requirements, safety rules, policies, and procedures at customer locations.
• Capable of calculating general figures including proportions, percentage, area, and volume.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to pass a drug test and physical.

Preferred:

• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year using tools and equipment in an industrial setting.
• Minimum of 6 months experience welding.
