Overview
Provide reliable, hands-on cleaning and light-maintenance support for a multi-unit residential property. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe apartments and attractive grounds while responding to basic repair and turnover tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean vacant and occupied units: sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms and kitchens, wipe surfaces, and dispose of trash and recycling.
- Perform unit turnover tasks: move furniture and appliances, remove debris, and prepare apartments for new tenants.
- Conduct basic maintenance and repairs: change light bulbs, replace air filters, tighten hardware, patch minor wall damage, and address simple plumbing/electrical issues within training scope.
- Maintain grounds: pick up litter, sweep entrances and walkways, and assist with exterior upkeep as needed.
- Report larger repair needs to management and follow safety procedures when working with tools and equipment.
- Keep accurate logs of completed work and materials used.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or apartment turnover preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move furniture, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic handyman skills or willingness to learn (minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full schedule.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid ID and permission to work.
