Maintenance Technician Location: Defiance, OH Pay: $28 - $31/hr Schedule: Full-Time 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and production systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and plant equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with pumps, valves, motors, conveyors, compressors, boilers, and packaging equipment.
Ability to use electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Welding experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to pass a maintenance assessment.
Working Conditions
Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, and industrial equipment.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and reaching throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
May be required to work in confined spaces.
Must be able to distinguish colors for electrical and maintenance tasks.
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, respirators, and other safety gear as needed.
Must be comfortable working around moving equipment, steam, water systems, and production processes while following all safety and GMP guidelines.
