The Maintenance Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the maintenance storeroom, for the upkeep of all company buildings/grounds, and the oversight of the rework department.  This individual will also assist with maintenance activities, vendor management, financial auditing, and the Oil/Waste program. The Maintenance Operations Coordinator will report to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager with a dotted line to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position will work 7am – 4pm, Monday through Friday.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement QR codes / barcoding on all assets and storeroom inventory
  • Maintain maintenance storeroom inventory including organization, cycle count accuracy, tracking inventory financial balance, part ordering
  • Supervision of the rework operators, up to 8 employees
  • Driving operational metrics for the rework department
  • Oversee campus and buildings upkeep
  • Maintenance Vendor / contractor support, including the scheduling of facility waste pickup
  • Assist with maintenance activities, where needed
  • Assist with financial audits for maintenance activities
  • Assist with oil analysis and waste management
Qualifications
 
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing inventory OR facility/campus maintenance
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing maintenance storeroom inventory using QR codes
  • Experience as a maintenance technician or in a technical role supporting maintenance activities
  •  Experience using CMMS and Predictive Maintenance Systems
  • Prior supervisory experience

Work Environment
  • Manufacturing facility with large scale production line and smaller operational cells.
  • Primarily based in a manufacturing/production environment with some work being performed in an office setting.
  • Will require off-hours support for rework department, as needed.
  • May require off-hours support during critical maintenance issue on rare occasions.
Physical Demands
  • Must pass all company-required physicals (Post-Offer, Mobile Equipment, and Heat Stress)
  • Meet or exceed 20/40 vision in each eye and bilaterally (visual acuity standards in line with DOT Regs. and ability to obtain Mobile Equipment Certification Operation
  • Must be able to sit /stand for up to 1 hour
  • Must be able to bend and reach to the floor, as needed
  • Must be able to work overhead, as needed
  • Must be able to climb stairs, as needed
  • Must be able to crawl in tight spaces, as needed
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs unassisted, as needed
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
