Maintenance Operations Manager - Village Square Apartments

Berger Communities is hiring a Maintenance Operations Manager for Village Square Apartments in Bensalem, PA. We're looking for a leader who enjoys running the business side of maintenance just as much as supporting the team in the field.

In this role, you'll oversee maintenance operations, manage vendors, track budgets and invoices, coordinate apartment turns, and ensure service requests are completed efficiently. You'll spend more time driving operations, supporting your team, and keeping projects on track than performing day-to-day repairs, while still being ready to jump in when needed. Pay & Benefits

• $37.50-$39.50/hour, paid biweekly, plus:

  • Up to 12% annual bonus

What You'll Do

You'll be the operational leader behind a high-performing maintenance team. That means:

• Leading, coaching, and developing service technicians
• Managing maintenance budgets, purchasing, invoices, and vendor relationships
• Coordinating apartment turns and capital improvement projects
• Tracking work order performance and ensuring service standards are met
• Overseeing preventive maintenance programs and property inspections
• Working with contractors and vendors to complete projects on time and within budget
• Supporting snow removal, emergency response, and on-call operations
• Providing a great resident experience through responsive, professional service
• Assisting with hands-on maintenance when needed

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of maintenance experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience managing maintenance operations, vendors, and budgets
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems
• Comfortable using property management software, maintenance platforms, and technology
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
• Valid driver's license
