Maintenance Operator

A leading manufacturer specializing in custom electrical insulation and composite materials is seeking a Maintenance Operator to support facility and equipment upkeep across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with a strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure and production equipment (manual and CNC)

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues

• Conduct facility inspections and preventative maintenance tasks

• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment problems

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders and spare parts

• Collaborate with contracted repair personnel when needed

• Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards

Qualifications:

• Trade school or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred

• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Ability to read schematics and follow written/verbal instructions

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
