A leading manufacturer specializing in custom electrical insulation and composite materials is seeking a Maintenance Operator to support facility and equipment upkeep across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with a strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure and production equipment (manual and CNC)
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues
Conduct facility inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment problems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders and spare parts
Collaborate with contracted repair personnel when needed
Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
Qualifications:
Trade school or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Ability to read schematics and follow written/verbal instructions
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Willingness to work overtime as needed
