Job Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:
- Responsible for the scheduling, tracking and evaluating the preventative maintenance plans for plant equipment
- Responsible for generating maintenance plans based on supplier recommendations and industry best practices
- Ensures that spare parts are available in inventory for emergency breakdowns, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Follow and abide by all government, Legal, Magna and MST rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate a maturity of judgement, leadership skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills in all aspects of the job function.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Computer skills in Microsoft office suite.
- Familiar with ERP systems and CMMS planning software.
- Advanced math skills with the ability to apply to cost and analyze data.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED and at least a 2-year degree from an accredited technical college or post-secondary school.
- Preferred 4-year degree from an accredited technical college or university.
