Our Maintenance Planner at our Fresno Plant will Coordinate, plan and schedule all facilities, including corrective work orders as well as maintenance and calibration/PM activities Primary gatekeeper for Maintenance CMMS (EMaint, SAP/Prometheus, or other) Coordinate turnarounds/outages and build schedule for site Manage and oversee CMMS assets and new additions .

Participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings to streamline scheduling with other departments at the site including operations and logistics and engineering. Oversee KPI's with PM compliance, scheduling adherence, and resource allocation, etc.

This role will work with the facilities and maintenance supervisors, supply chain and operations to ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance, facilities and calibration activities are completed per schedule and without impacting the production process.

What will you do:

  • Lead coordination meetings with Operations and Maintenance teams to align on equipment availability.
  • Develop job plans and work packages for mechanical and I&E jobs.
  • Build a "ready-to-schedule" work order list that the team leads can schedule for technicians with a minimum of one week ahead schedule
  • Serve as main gatekeeper for CMMS
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of maintenance activities, including labor, materials, and parts
  • Develop and manage weekly and daily maintenance schedules, assigning tasks to the appropriate technicians and subcontractors.
  • Prioritize work based on equipment criticality and operational impact.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed within scheduled timeframes.
  • Confirm availability of parts and materials prior to scheduling jobs
  • Create and maintain job kitting processes to support efficiency.
  • Analyze equipment history and performance data to improve preventative maintenance strategies with reliability department.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and other CMMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of safety practices in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with production, industry maintenance, and utility equipment/systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation (work orders, drawings, manuals).
  • Experience analyzing maintenance data (OEE, downtime, costs).
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Regular interaction with internal stakeholders (Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, Finance, etc.)
  • Coordination with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure work is properly planned and supported.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minium Qualifications

  • High School Diploma minimum
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing (preferred in chemical industry or oil & gas)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Team-management and leadership skills
  • Experience with SAP/Prometheus preferred; experience with a Maintenance CMMS required
  • Documentation management and ability to use Maintenance CMMS and Microsoft Excel
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge and skill of eMaint web-based CMMS maintenance scheduling software.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance operations and industrial equipment and parts

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
