Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support efficient production workflows.
The ideal candidate has strong CMMS experience, a solid preventive maintenance background, and hands-on experience coordinating maintenance work in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs to enhance equipment reliability
- Create, prioritize, and manage maintenance work orders aligned with production needs
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance plans
- Manage maintenance inventory, including sourcing, tracking, and staging parts and materials
- Monitor equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and adjust schedules as needed
- Support training and adoption of CMMS processes and maintenance best practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or industrial maintenance (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Hands-on experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance programs
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order management
- Experience with parts inventory or maintenance supply coordination
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing industries such as automotive, CPG, beverage, or heavy industry
- Exposure to reliability-centered maintenance or equipment uptime improvement initiatives
- Experience working in cross-functional production environments
Work Environment
