**Job Details** **Job Title:** **Maintenance Planner (Remote)** **Job Information** **Job Family/Function:** **Engineering & Technical Services** **Location:** **Remote - Midwest to East Coast United States** **About the Role** As a CBRE **Maintenance Planner** , you will support a major telecommunications client within the retail sector by coordinating maintenance planning and operational workflows across multiple sites. You will be responsible for organizing work orders, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring efficient execution of maintenance activities to drive operational excellence and service delivery. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, which provides support, preventive maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems. The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in coordinating technicians, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely maintenance execution and reliability across client locations. This is a remote position supporting a portfolio across the Midwest to East Coast of the United States. Candidates must reside within this region to align with business operations and support requirements. **What You'll Do** + Coordinate and organize work orders, assigning tasks to technicians and work teams to ensure timely completion + Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and service providers to support maintenance activities + Partner with technicians to ensure materials, permits, tools, and resources are prepared and available for scheduled work + Develop, maintain, and distribute workflow processes to support consistency and operational efficiency across the account + Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs and assist in continuous improvement initiatives + Review maintenance data and provide regular reporting on performance trends, work completion, and service quality + Support vendor management and ensure work is completed in accordance with scope, timelines, and service-level expectations + Assist in tracking maintenance activities across multiple retail sites to ensure system reliability and uptime + Identify process improvements and contribute to enhancing operational workflows and client satisfaction + Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures **What You'll Need** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience + Experience coordinating maintenance activities, work orders, or service operations (telecommunications, retail, or facilities environments preferred) + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities + Ability to analyze information and make decisions based on standard practices and procedures + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external vendors + Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset + Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting a geographically distributed team + Intermediate math skills, including working with percentages and basic financial calculations **Why CBRE** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
