Description Ensure the safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and taking measures to proactively address concerns Actively oversee, develop, and participate in preventative maintenance activities and ensure effective communication across & between shifts and with the production teams Build detailed job plans for maintenance team job plans Have work orders kitted/staged and all parts issued for work plans Utilize preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime Efficient use of reliable troubleshooting methods to ensure uptime, production volume and quality goals are met Continuous improvement efforts involving maintenance and production crews in problem solving to maximize facility improvement in safety, housekeeping, waste reduction, quality, productivity and cost Use computer-based programs to support effective prioritization of maintenance requests, manage maintenance inventory, and delegate maintenance resources Identifying safety, environmental, quality and production issues Identifying measures to minimize cost and reduce waste Providing backup support to maintenance supervisors to lead & direct electrical maintenance activities and work assignments
