What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Planner / Service Writer, you be responsible for planning minor outages including work scopes, job plans and parts procurement. You will take the leading role in promoting preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance. Other duties include:

Play a key role in ensuring our equipment, teams, and systems are aligned for safe, efficient, and reliable operations

Own the planning and coordination of maintenance activities from start to finish

Ensure all material required for a maintenance task is obtained and available before scheduling.

Prepares maintenance schedule when required.

Support all maintenance functions at multiple sites with light IT support, learning and training, communications, analysis, and reporting.

Schedule and facilitate mandatory regulatory trainers and training

Schedule site specific onboarding training and manage documentation for task training through Groundhog Software, or like.

Employ, provide training and support use of Manager Plus software to manage inventory, maintenance records and reporting.

Manage consumption and allocation of parts, accessories and consumables

Manage inventory and stocking levels for stocked parts, accessories and consumables.

Coordinate with corporate HR training team to ensure compliance to mandatory learning

Timely process goods receipts from mechanics and maintenance team at multiple sites

Secure multiple quotes for purchased items

Process within SAP to point of payment

Maintain and coordinate daily pre/post defects with mechanics

Ensure timely work order completion for multiple sites

Achieves high planning accuracy by physically scoping each assigned job.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in maintenance coordination, service writing, purchasing, or administrative suppor

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfort working independently and across multiple teams

Understanding of basics of heavy equipment preferred

Experience with systems like SAP, CMMS, or inventory tools is a plus

Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
