Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or its equivalent
- 3 years prior experience in a parts room environment with parts purchasing knowledge
- knowledge of the parts purchasing and vendor relationships
- knowledge of the parts room in an industrial setting
- be at least 20 years old
- ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
- a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
- ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
- ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds
- successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)
- Computation
- Following Written Directions and
- Visual Speed and Accuracy
- working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- ability to read, write and solve math problems
- ability to read and interpret schematics, and technical and parts manuals
- ability to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
- capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system
- ability to multi-task and work independently with little or no supervision
- ability to handle confidential information
- ability to work well with others and be a team member
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
- current Industrial Maintenance associate
- Associate’s degree in Business
- 5 years of prior experience in an industrial parts room environment with parts purchasing experience
- knowledge of basic accounting principles and statistical data analysis
- CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager)
