Description

Maintenance & Production Supervisor
Monday - Friday, 7A - 4P and on-call
$80k+ depending on experience

This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee production operations while helping improve equipment reliability and plant performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop production operators through training, coaching, and performance management
  • Oversee production batches to ensure quality, safety, and process compliance
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Enforce feed safety, quality, and company safety programs
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment and coordinate with maintenance as needed
  • Participate in the Feed Safety Team and support audits and documentation
  • Play key role in supporting production performance, team development, and continuous improvement.
  • Handle maintenance needs as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience (required)
  • Minimum 5 years production experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of production operations and feed safety/quality standards
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using basic computer tools (email, MS Office)
  • Previous experience working with pumps, valves, heat exchangers and boilers (prefer Boilers License)
  • Must be able to pass background check & have valid driver's license
