Ensuring they are completed on time within budget and built according to the NBISD facility standards. Initiate contract repair when work cannot be performed by district staff.Work cooperatively with principals and facilities managers to schedule and complete repairs.Estimate cost of repair and maintenance projects including labor materials and other related costs.Assists in the preparation andor prepares the notices and instructions to the biddersproposers for the publication in compliance with bid laws.InspectionInspect all district buildings and facilities and initiate repairs as needed.Conduct on-site inspection of completed repair projects. Monitor and inspect contractSafetyProvide training and orientation to all skilled workers in safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing.
