Maintenance Repair Tech

We are looking for a Maintenance Repair Tech to join our Grand Prairie, TX shot peening facility!

As our Maintenance Repair Tech, you will ensure machines are running at optimal performance. This is a great role for an individual with some maintenance and fabrication (welding) experience who wishes to expand their knowledge, particularly in preventative maintenance, and robotic machines.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Shift:Monday-Friday

Hourly Rate: $24-$28/hour

Your Challenge:

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Follow instructions and read blueprints.
• Safely work at heights.
• Use logical step-by-step procedures in work.
• Plan work and solve problems.
• Make decisions based on measurable information.
• Perform a variety of duties which may change often; and operate machinery.
• Repair pumps, large conveying augers, dust collectors, blast rooms.
• Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
• May operate engine lathe or milling machine to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.

What You Bring:

• Identify & resolve both electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic systems to ensure optimal performance specifically Yaskawa / Motoman but other robot systems are acceptable.
• Skilled in the repair of variable frequency drives, human machine interface (HMI), servomotors and controllers, communication systems PLC input/output cards, and safety modules
• Strong working knowledge of all operating systems in the plant including but not limited to Allen Bradley (AB), B&R automation, Siemens
• Performs troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment and general electrical maintenance of the building and grounds.
• Define requirements and lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like-new status during planned downtime
