Pay Range: $25.00 - $31.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
In this vital 2nd-shift role, you will perform mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repair to ensure maximum uptime for critical manufacturing assets and overall plant infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex capital manufacturing equipment and facility support systems.
Dismantle malfunctioning machinery, replace defective components, and rebuild assemblies using precision hand tools and measuring instruments.
Resolve mechanical and operational issues across heavy stamping presses, conveyor systems, plumbing networks, and plant utility vehicles.
Assemble and install new industrial machinery in accordance with engineering schematics and technical blueprints.
Execute general facility maintenance, basic pipefitting/plumbing repairs, and routine fleet vehicle maintenance (excluding engine overhauls).
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or completion of a relevant vocational/technical program.
Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Practical experience maintaining and repairing material handling and conveyor systems.
Functional knowledge of basic welding, cutting, and metal fabrication techniques.
Proven ability to read, interpret, and work from complex industrial blueprints and schematics.
Comprehensive understanding and enforcement of Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
Strict working knowledge of basic OSHA safety guidelines and plant protocols.
High mechanical aptitude, self-directed problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
