Our client is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated material handling equipment and conveyor systems in a fast-paced operational environment. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or facilities operations.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment and conveyor systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Respond to equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
Document maintenance activities and repair work within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment as required.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability efforts.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to pass background and security requirements.
Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated conveyor systems.
Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment.
Experience with 480V electrical systems and 3-phase motors.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
CMMS experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
