Maintenance/Repair Technicians

We are hiring for experienced Maintenance/Repair Technicians in Cortland, OH. This is a full-time position with an excellent opportunity for growth. We're looking for reliable candidates with a strong background in industrial maintenance who want to be part of a dynamic team.

Join a company committed to excellence in metals production. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and plant facilities. You'll work with a variety of tools and trades, supporting the productivity and safety of the manufacturing process.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay:
$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment or in plant facilities
  • Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment
  • Conduct routine and special inspections to prevent breakdowns
  • Use blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications
  • Work in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding
  • Use hand and power tools, crane, and forklift

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of related industrial maintenance experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proper use of hand and power tools, testing, and troubleshooting equipment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with blueprints and diagrams
  • Welding or electrical certifications
  • Forklift and crane operation experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years in manufacturing or industrial maintenance

Other Requirements:
  • On-site work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Valid certifications as required (if applicable)
