Maintenance Sales Representative (MSR)


About the Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Sales Representative (MSR) to develop new business while expanding relationships with existing commercial clients throughout the Bay Area. This role focuses on selling preventive maintenance agreements, HVAC service solutions, equipment retrofits, and replacement projects to building owners, property managers, facility managers, and commercial real estate professionals.

Responsibilities



  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling.

  • Sell commercial HVAC preventive maintenance agreements to new and existing clients.

  • Identify retrofit, equipment replacement, and energy efficiency opportunities within customer facilities.

  • Conduct facility walkthroughs to evaluate mechanical systems and recommend cost-effective solutions.

  • Prepare proposals, maintenance agreements, and service contracts.

  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure high satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.

  • Work closely with Service Managers, Project Managers, and field technicians to coordinate project execution.

  • Follow up on technician-generated leads and convert opportunities into revenue.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasts within the CRM system.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales objectives while maintaining target gross margins.



Qualifications



  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC, mechanical services, facilities, or building systems sales experience preferred.

  • Experience selling preventive maintenance agreements or commercial service contracts strongly preferred.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to develop business through prospecting and networking.

  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
