    Join Our Team:  Maintenance Scheduler/Clerk

    Are you looking for a rewarding career with a team that values a friendly, customer-centered attitude? We are seeking motivated individuals for our Maintenance Scheduler/Clerk position. This is an entry-level role where we provide the training you need to succeed

    Hourly Wage Range: $21.00 – $23.50
    New Hire Incentive:$500.00 bonus awarded after the successful completion of a minimum three-month training period.

    The Role

    Under the general supervision of the RMTD Maintenance Manager, this role would facilitate activities in an efficient manner; inventory control; perform a variety of clerical duties including data entry, time keeping/payroll approval, as well as file upkeep and progressive upkeep and the maintenance of records.

    Key Responsibilities

    ·         Receives written/electronic work repair orders and schedules each based on the priority of when preventive maintenance is due; determine vehicle availability and schedule based on priority and availability; updates vehicle placement listings

    ·         Enter data from mechanic’s paperwork into the computer using spreadsheets and a vehicle maintenance program

    ·         Track outstanding maintenance records

    ·         File completed work orders

    ·         Maintain inventory listings

    ·         Maintain vehicle safety inspection lists

    ·         Receives weekly mileage from each site, enter them in the vehicle maintenance software

    ·         Receives requisitions from mechanics and assigns each an account code; research and determine if parts, etc. are under warranty

    ·         Be courteous to co-workers and outside sources

    ·         Communicates at a high level with your supervisor, mechanics, and county supervisors to coordinate efficient vehicle maintenance activities with the operations department.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Clerical Skills: Basic clerical skills are required to manage scheduling and communications.
    • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age to hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
    • Driving Record:
      • Must have a good driving record for the past 3 years (no more than one moving violation or one at-fault accident).
      • No DUI convictions within the last 10 years.
    • Documentation: Ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance.
    • Background:
      • A verifiable, positive work history with no separations due to substance abuse violations.
      • Because RMTD provides transportation for Federal and State programs, we may not hire persons with felony convictions.

    CDL Licensing: You must obtain a CDL license after hire (we will train)
