Tesla is expanding its LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery cell manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Scheduler is the single point of accountability for the schedule board, backlog health, and schedule compliance metrics across all maintenance departments. This role does not plan the work - the Planners do. The Scheduler ensures that planned work is executed in the right sequence, at the right time, without colliding with production commitments.

  • Build and manage maintenance schedules for LFP manufacturing equipment, including Electrode, Cell Manufacturing, and Stack Module departments
  • Facilitate weekly Schedule coordination meetings with maintenance supervisors, engineers, and production supervisors/planners to align maintenance windows with manufacturing output targets
  • Create, assign, and track maintenance orders through Flux CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring timely completion and compliance
  • Monitor equipment failure modes and work with reliability engineers to proactively schedule predictive maintenance interventions
  • Track parts and materials availability with the Spares Team to ensure technicians have what they need before work begins (Kitting Process)
  • Own and maintain the Ready-to-Schedule (RTS) backlog and break of schedule requests.
  • Generate weekly schedule attainment reports for Maintenance Planning Leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance scheduling, production planning, or operations coordination in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint, or similar)
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing setting
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent tools for schedule building/reporting and the ability to prepare/present planning KPI data to leadership
  • Experience in high-volume battery, semiconductor, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments
  • Experience in CMRP, lean manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma methodologies
