What You'll Do Support the daily care and maintenance of Fort Wayne's parks by assisting with horticulture and grounds work in a seasonal, outdoor role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mowing, trimming, mulching, pruning, planting, and weeding
• Support greenhouse tasks and work with horticulture crews as assigned
• Perform general grounds work, litter removal, and basic janitorial upkeep
• Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and City vehicles
• Follow City safety policies and complete basic work records

What You Bring - Education & Experience

• At least 18 years old with three years of high school completed
• Gardening, landscaping, or outdoor work experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Certifications

• Valid Indiana Driver's License

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
