Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance assistant to join our team at Garden Valley Retirement Village. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the building, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to address repairs and safety concerns
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for special events or activities within the facility
• Collaborate with management to plan and prioritize maintenance projects
