Position: Maintenance Specialist
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in utilizing various maintenance equipment.
- Training in carpentry, plumbing, glazing, electrical work, or general construction/custodial skills are highly desirable.
- Must be comfortable using technology to support maintenance operations, including digital work order systems, mobile maintenance apps, inventory management software, and basic computer tasks such as email, data entry, and online training modules.
- Good physical condition for performing tasks requiring manual labor.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment relevant to maintenance duties.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License.
- Must pass criminal background check.
Date of Employment: Start date to be determined upon offer acceptance
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience and keeping with the district salary schedule.
Job Description:
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for keeping facilities in proper working order by identifying and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, ensuring the safety and functionality of buildings and equipment through preventative maintenance, and responding to emergency repairs when needed.
