Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a‬‭ Maintenance Specialist‬‭ at Chick-fil-A on West Jackson Avenue. This position is responsible‬‭ for ensuring the smooth rotation and‬‭ filleting of raw chicken, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, and supporting the‬‭ general upkeep of all relevant equipment and areas.‬

As part of our team, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operations of our kitchen and‬ overall restaurant by adhering to strict safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.‬

‭

Raw Chicken Handling & Filleting:‬

Rotate raw chicken cases to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory control.‬

Properly fillet raw chicken according to company standards for size and quality.‬

‬ ‭Ensure correct storage of raw chicken to prevent contamination, spoilage, or loss of‬‭ product.‬

‭

Cleaning and Facility Maintenance:‬

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment as needed.‬

Assist in maintaining clean and safe working areas by mopping floors, wiping down‬ surfaces, and maintaining a hygienic environment.‬

Dispose of trash regularly and properly, ensuring that trash bins are emptied and the‬ area remains waste-free.‬

Perform regular cleaning tasks like sweeping and scrubbing floors, changing trash bags,‬ and assisting with deep-cleaning tasks when necessary.‬

‭

Truck and Box Management:‬

‭‭ Help unload and store deliveries from the truck in an organized manner, ensuring proper‬ placement and temperature control for all products.‬

Crush and break down boxes for recycling and dispose of packaging materials properly.‬

Boilouts, Filter Scrapes, and Equipment Maintenance:‬

Assist with equipment boilouts and filter scrapes, maintaining functionality and‬ cleanliness of all relevant machinery.‬

Replace and clean refrigerator filters to ensure optimal performance and food safety‬ standards.
