Maintenance Staff

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across building systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and interior spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues; perform electrical equipment repairs as needed.
• Perform mechanical maintenance tasks including welding, painting, and the use of hand tools to address various facility needs.
• Maintain facilities equipment by performing repairs on plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other building infrastructure in accordance with safety standards.
• Execute maintenance painting projects and interior building upkeep to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
• Document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule upcoming tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles within residential settings.
• Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on skills with hand tools, schematics, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Demonstrated electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting electrical systems, and repairing electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC system repair and maintenance procedures; familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Capable in plumbing system maintenance and repair; experience with plumbing system troubleshooting is essential.
• Experience with welding, painting (including residential painting), and general building interior maintenance.
• Communication skills in English is preferred; capable of documenting work accurately and following safety guidelines diligently.
